Congrats Keith. I am going to hand off an engine yoke to for you give Mark when he is down picking up his mill.
Now you and larmo and coondog all have a 914 with an empty engine bay...... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif) I wonder who will be the first to hear the roar of a 911 mill between the three of you guys.... Of course Coondog has pms.... as his destiny is in the hands of PMS! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/av-943.gif) |

Also: the logo / you might try European Motorworks in (maybe) harbor city / George is the owner/builder and he is very well respected on type 4 builds to any reasonable specification / just an fyi.
He knows Keith and I from machine work and parts sales but his engines are very well regarded. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) |

So this engine is back on the market
And im going for it but just curious, Will it be suitable for daily driving or is this more of a race motor I really only drive the car on the weekends ,car shows etc But was just curious about what to expect. And since its 103mm does that mean reliablity and or longevity Is comprised ? Curious about the " new pistons an cyclinder " What pistons an cyclindes are they ? Im sure its a blast to drive and thats what i want most But thought id just ask around about what to expect. ... |

There are quite a few 914s with empty engine bays here.
Fun and frustrating. I'm waiting on my welder to weld in the front oil cooler shroud and bottom vented panel. |
