Mom promised that she would do her best to be good and not be in the Hospital the weekend of June 3rd (gotta love her (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif) ) so I can attend the swap meet.

I know Hershey is the big swap for us mid west / east coasters, but anyone planning on hitting Stoddard also? Since I can't make Hershey I will be bringing my usual hoard of parts and stuff to Stoddard.

I will miss Hershey as well. But I will be up and running in time for this. So yeah I'll be going there.

I need to look at how far of a drive it would be for me but may be interested.

The car even have some parts on it I bought from you !!!

Looking for an original good steel wheel to use as a basis for my spare. Do you have one ??? I'll have a list with me of other needed small parts to finish this project.

Hope to see you there

I missed Hershey but I'm driving up from Atlanta for it.

And looking for a nice early top and a good set of steel rocker panels (outside).

Going to Stoddard on Sat but didn't know what car I was going to drive. Thanks to Dr Evil was able to relieve the tranny of it hypoid gear noise issue on Tuesday. Put her back together on Wed finishing up today. Had to obtain 2 CV joint gaskets and my network came through. Took her and my wife for a 35 mile freeway drive with speeds up to 70 MPH. Remember new motor break in required.

Will drive the 914, Project Scarecrow, to Stoddard on Sat. First extended drive of 1 and half hours each way required. Lets hope I put her back together correctly. Pray for no rain until late evening.

Hope to meet up with other World Members and my NORPCA brethren. I'm the grey haired Guy with the 914 shirt on.

Here's a pic of the 914 after her drive today. First time to stretch her legs in over 23 years. What fun. Sexy too ........... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) Attached Image

Good to see all of you guys there! It was well worth the drive up. Scored some deals, got into my Porsche groove, saw some vendor/friends and made some new ones (Check out Ranger's bushings in the vendors section).

Nice to see everyone again. Had a fun time, sold some parts, made some $$ and this happened also. On Friday night Brad and I hit a dead deer in the middle of the lane on the Ohio turn pike. We had no time to serve and miss it. No damage to the truck, but my trailer didn't fair so well. Knocked out a rear running light and bunt the rear lip out. The big damage was to the right side it broke the shackle and looks like the mount is tweaked a little. So looks like I get to do some (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smash.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/welder.gif) on the trailer this week. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Oh and yes that is dear guts on the front axle (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon8.gif)

Looks like the ride home for us wasn't much better, I'm an hour from home and BOOM! Of course I was loaded to the gills, an SC Coupe, about 50 wheels, and 8 engines. Luckily there was a Tractor Supply right off the highway, and the cop that arrived to cheap on the "abandoned trailer" was very cool, he even wanted a business card, in case he came upon a Porsche.
Good to see everyone at the swap, only one more of the year, Ski Roundtop in Sept.
