FS: Complete drivetrain dropped out of a '72 running car. Engine did not smoke, comes complete with harness, fuel lines (new), regulator, TPS, cold start valve, sensors, thermostatic dampers are in place, alternator charges, starter works well, heat exchangers exchange, tail shift transmission is quiet in all gears, and fair muffler with rusty tailpipe (missing the muffler bracket, as you can see). Comes less the ECU and MPS - both have been rebuilt and will be sold separately.

All injectors were cleaned and flow-checked, and the fuel regulator checked for 28 psi, etc. Ran very solidly before I dropped it out to make room for a built 2.0L. Has a vacuum leak which was fooling the MPS but otherwise ran well (faking a 17 in Hg signal to the MPS made it run just fine - presumed to be the runner-to-throttle body sleeves which are original and brittle). Oil pressure was strong enough to turn out oil light during cranking (a good sign). No funny noises or worries. Comes with the original oil bath air filter and all tin, etc.

This is an original an unmolested engine complete and could be used as-is with some vacuum leak work on the old hoses/sleeves.

$850 ONO. Located in the Charlotte, NC area. Attached ImageAttached ImageAttached Image
