I've been looking at replacement motronic chips to give my '89 Carrera 3.2 more grunt. The car is a daily driver so it needs to be driveable in all rpm ranges, traffic, with the wife in the car and so on.

Any brand recommendations? I've seen web sites for Autothority, Wong and PowerChip but haven't had any experience with the quality of their work or with their businesses.

Any experience with these passing Calif. smog?

Thanks for the help.
