I have a top dash pad that hasn't cracked yet, but it is hard as a rock. Is there a 'leather food' for vinyl that will restore the elasticity?

I don't know if this can be trusted,..some guy on youtube used Olive oil,..?? on a rag just like any other cleaner but on a hard plactic dash..

Other than products to make it shine, nothing will change the vinyl or the foam underneath.
