One side is much weaker than the other. I checked the ground and its solid at the body. Tried switching bulbs and that didn't change anything. Could it be the fixture
that the bulb clips into. I have a mutli-meter, but I don't know how to verify the quality of the conductivity of the lines. Somebody learn me this please... Here's a picture for those of you that don't read |

Clean the connections. Double-check the wiring; is the brighter one lighting up both bulb filaments and the dimmer one only one? Only one is supposed to light up.
Look at the reflector inside the lens. Is it all grotty and pitted? Shining it up can help. Check the voltage across the power and ground connections while the lights are on. Does the brighter one see higher voltage? --DD |

I'd lay my money on a bad ground on the dim side.

Do the turnsignals work properly? If so, this would prove the grounds are ok.

The signal on that side is dim too. I check the ground at the body first. Paint had been scraped off.
