I'm running polished 4 bolt Fuchs now and I have an itch to go a little more racy. I like the looks of widened steel wheels. Called around and I see a couple places that will cut the center out and put it in a new wider rim but the only hitch is I have to find a steel wheel with 4x130 and enough backspacing.
i want this for a narrow body car so no flares. Are the only options the sundial steel or the stock steel wheel? Both kinda ugly. Wonder why it's impossible to find a 15x7, 4x130, 5" backspaced wheel.... Maybe convert to 4x100 and put fwd wheels on? Whose running widened steelies? Selling a set? |

There are companies that will cut your wheels, weld in a band of metal, and widen them in that way. However, I think the idea of using new barrels makes a whole lot of sense, though they may not look totally accurate.

Why are 9" wheels so hard to find in the aftermarket? It seems 95% of them jump from 8 to 10.

If you swap to 5 lug, there is a set of 5 or 7 15x7 Centerline wheels with the perfect offset to fit under the stock fenders.
