Jefferson 500 during the 2nd sprint race on Saturday. Trying out my new Renn Shifter and loving it. Still need to check out my shiftrod bushings and other components that make 914 shifting what it is! Tires are doing very well for me...1 1/2 year old Toyo RA-1s. My best lap time this weekend was 1:29.365. I'm happy with that for now (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) . Anyways, had lots of fun.

Nice video!

I was at UMD a few weeks ago and was thinking about you and the 2.2/6 my dad and I bought from you maybe a dozen years ago.

I love watching the video....what fun...I think if may be ill mannered to critique another's driving here , but your consistent pinching of the turn in at the end of the straight , ands its detrimental effect on your track position , has driven me too it..

Looks like you are out braking and cornering better than Steve and Joe!

I understand what you are saying. I am doing that on purpose setting up for a pass later on. Thanks for your comment! The detrimental effect you mention would not be eliminated on that track at that turn since my gearing does not provide the torque I need to power me adequately through the turn with the group I am running in. The line I'm taking actually gives me the best chance to make a pass since I brake late there.

Yea, I'm not sure why he was hanging around with us. We were the second pack of cars. There were 6 or 7 in the first pack....Corvette, Mustang, Jag, 240Z and a couple of others. We were not going to be running with them!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) . He was with them.

We got very lucky on both the 911 and the motor. Pretty sure the pair won't be leaving the family. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
