Complete 2.7 with fuel injection. Was told it ran when pulled for engine upgrade. Has been sitting in a climate controlled shop. High leak down numbers from valves that aren't sealing. Needs top end rebuild. No evidence of broken or pulled head studs. All head nuts take torque.
Exhaust available as well, depending on price. Asking $7000, but open to offers. Attached thumbnail(s) |

How much to install in my car after top end rebuild. Just want to have a number in mind as I sign the divorce papers if my wife sees this.

Papers Schmapers.
Don't bite off that much in one meal. Do it slowly and your lovely wife will thank you for it - they always do. A Man that can put together a 6 conversion that increases the value of a car by several multiples compared to its 4-value is one she will always love, respect and admire. Further, lay out a spreadsheet of time and money for the conversion process. Parts, Time. Money. Frustration. Family. Loss of family, etc. Then,.. Throw that (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif) away. If you overanalyze this stuff, it never gets done. As Gary Gilmore said (and Nike used) "Just Do It" Someone buy this thing and just do it. Seems to be a decent offering (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon_bump.gif) |

I'm going 2.7 RS+ spec on mine. I can/can't wait to get the bill for the case work etc etc (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) |

Bob Bob, I was able to snag this 911 exhaust from the same garage sale, Mark's motor came from. I was just giving the motor a bump. My 911 exhaust bargain came from the same garage sale as the motor. It's hard to pass up good Porsche stuff at a garage sale even if it's 911 stuff. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Tom |

Sorry! Apparently the board isn't sending me response notifications or they're going to my spam folder.
It's a 7R case. Other PMs sent... |
