After temporarily changing my Dansk sport 2/2 for a standard 911 2/1 style muffler, the chronic 2k revs flat spot has all but disappeared and the 911 sound has returned.
I want to change to a proper 914-6 muffler for my May '70 -6 but I have concerns that I will lose the classic early 911 sound by installing a Dansk unit.
A while ago I changed to SSIs on my 2.2 S and lost this sound much to my annoyance.
Are there any Leistritz mufflers out there that are still in very good condition or have these all gone the way of the dinosaurs ?
I believe I can get the Dansks but it looks like I have to chase around after them a bit.

TIA

Good condition 2/2 Leistritz mufflers can still be found at swap meets.
Persistence pays.
