Thanks Evil,

You can laugh or cry and I choose to laugh by finding joy and happiness wherever I can. So looking forward to a beer and Chinese food session with you and whatever silliness that brings. Hope you like spicy Szechuan because "mom" in the kitchen" has some "smoking" dishes. Or, if you want to go authentic and milder, she has those too.

And no, don't plan on ordering off of the "tourist" menu. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Take care,

Ken

Mike I hope you hold it together! I can just imagine the stresses!
You can always move to Canada.... We line up at 6 am, 12 or more people deep to see a doctor here in BC, and If you come after 9:30 am you may not get in.... Huge shortages of GPs here
Fantastic place to live! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif)

I'm sorry to hear about all of this Mike.

Credit to both you and Noel for being civil about the divorce.

Many of us (myself included) pursue an education in a field we think fits us. Sometimes, it doesn't...and that's OK. I've had to reinvent myself multiple times throughout my career.

I hope the stability and lower hours of the prison job is what you have been looking for in the medical field. If it's not, you will be fine. I know you are resourceful.

I wish you the best navigating through this shit storm. Keep pressing forward and things will get better. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Wow, talk about a shit storm? That is a bummer to spend all that time to be a Doctor and find out it is not what it is cracked up to be. Glad you hung in there and pulled it all together. Wish you the best of luck in the future.

So nice to hear from you Mike. Sorry to hear about the troubles, but at least you took ACTION. You'll turn it around. You da MAN around here and don't forget it! Anything we can do to help?

So what's the status on the Corvair-powered tranny van? I don't recall if you still have it or not.

Glad to see you are back. I was at your last Seattle clinic and enjoyed it. Hope you will be planning another clinic in Seattle or Portland.
