1974 914 1.8 with Renegade Hybrids SBC Conversion
This car is a driver, built to be comfortable and driven. Current owner of 30 years thinks he could be the second owner, 82 year old long time enthusiast looking to move on. Conversion done early 2000’s with the right parts and money spent in the right places, full receipts of all work done. Get it, put some new tires on it and drive it.
Engine:
350 Chevy crate motor with ~ 4k miles on it. Stock longblock with edelbrock performer RPM intake and Holley 600 double pumper carb. Starts right up and runs wonderful. 300HP 370TQ with build sheet

Transmission:
Stock 901 rebuilt locally, Linkage could use adjustment (or I havent driven a 901 in too long)
Rennegade Hybrids clutch kit

Radiator:
Rod Sympson radiator setup with thermostat and 185deg kick on fans. Works great, recently resealed and serviced.

Suspension:
KYB shocks, 140lbs springs, stock sway bars. Tires over 10 years old, no cracks but should be replaced, rest of suspension feels balanced and sporty

Brakes:
320i front calipers, stock rear calipers.
Interior:
Cracked dash, stock interior.

Body: 10 year old paint job showing dents, scratches, chips and minor body imperfections. 10 footer. Previous rear end accident repaired decently well, repair work shows.

Chassis: No real rust to be found, Hell hole good, Longs good, Floor pans good, chassis feels very solid. True California

Some spare parts included in sale. (Chrome Bumpers, Headers, misc)

Asking price $10k

Price lowered to 9.5k. I showed the car to a friend who is very interested in the car and found some things I didnt previously see, Price is lowered to reflect that.

1. One 6" piece of radiator hose is in dire need of replacing, and the center tunnel fuel lines probably have not been replaced, This would need to be replaced for MY piece of mind.
2. I did not get a good picture of the right rear 1/4 panel, but there is some scuff marks about 6" x 6" that could be taken out but some chunks of paint missing from the fender lip.
3. The car was originally a 1.8, not a 2.0.

On a positive note I clarified the spares with the car, a couple of chrome bumpers that look decent, some small surface rust and a couple dents that could come out, but they look OK. Probably a 6/10 condition
Hugger headers ceramic coated from Renegade with their over axle exhaust.
The owner is a beer maker for fun and will throw in some craft ales (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) And there might be a Honda CA100 50 thrown in the deal!
