Okay, I can not take it anymore...and it just began. Since no one is interested in my 911. Maybe I could sell Joe's bike (that he never rides) to finance my teener? Any offers? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/lol2.gif)

And that was when the bike was an $1800 bike. Now it has about $4000 in it...a precurser to the RS?

So, we basically got it down to the tub this weekend. I'm still working on removing the tar mat from the floor (oh joy) and I need to clean up the firewall... We're almost ready to paint! We had to stop a couple of times this weekend for thunderstorms, but they sure made a beautiful rainbow!

Oh my, that's a good one. I almost shot milk out of my nose.

Guys, don't listen to her until she sees me loading a paint gun.

It's a 1980 that is almost the same color as the RS. I picked it up for $1600: '86 16V engine, late Bilstein coil-overs on all four corners and no rust. The PO was over his head electrically. I've redone all the wiring from the seats to the nose and now it will idle, but the RS has been very time consuming.

It's about to be on the front burner. More will follow.

Good progress today. Liz and I almost finished the floors and I got one fender stripped. We're not going to sand blast because the chassis just doesn't need to be fully stripped.
