Nice looking car. Wonder what it will go for. Don't recognize that blue as a std colour from back then...

Very nice looking car. In his description he says the cam covers were warped and replaced with ones from a turbo. Does he mean valve covers were warped?

Does he mean valve covers were warped? no probably over torqued ,which push`s the gasket out or in 930 valve cover are a pretty standard upgrade to the 6 cars (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

Don't recognize that blue as a std colour from back then... Metallic Blue, optional colour with premium price (IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) & I love that, the Adriatic Blue & all of the metallic blues of the 70-76 914s! http://p914.com/p914_paint_70.htm http://p914.com/p914_paint_L98P_70.htm I was wondering if you knew him Dave! Sorry we missed you at the OCR Concours yesterday, but understand why with the trailer parking issue (they're allowing unloading at the parking lot next to the field, but trailers still have to park along the street/drive north of the tennis courts). Hope to see you at the SDR concours in September, if I'm not travveling out-of-town then. Cheers! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Tom /////// |
