Does the clamping bolt for the curved chrome piece get installed as pictured or 180 degrees rotated?

One of the few pictures I don't have and PET is unclear.

Remove the holder from the body and slide it into the sail trim....
as I recall that will be a big clue.
And don't forget the black plastic spacer (its a countersunk cylindrical item) that goes between the sail trim and body at the top screw.
