I have a set of solex carbs from my 75 that I won't be using anymore.

Any idea what they are worth and if anyone would even be interested in them? Is that something the bus community would be looking for?

Thanks for the help and I am sorry if this is in the wrong section.

If they are the original solex carbs (40PDSIT) that came on the 914 in Europe they could be interest to some, problem is I have never seen parts/kits for them,if they are a set of bus carbs probably not much, they were pretty awful, even rebuilt they aren't very good.

But if they are Solex 40 PII carbs they may be worth quite alot to a 356/912 owner.
Dual 40PII carbs were used on 356s & 912s and depending on specific version and condition might be valuable $300-$400 each?

The Solex 40P11 carbs were initially used on the SCCA racers prepared by Richie Ginther, so may be of value to a vintage racer. Do you also have the manifolds for them?

However, I'd also think the 356 and 912 folks would be much more interested in them.

Yep, Ginther used them way back when. I had a set of 40P11's on my '71 back in the early '70's as I was always playing around with it. Still have them with the wire mesh air cleaners.
Tried selling them a year or so ago at rennlist and surprisingly got no responses!

Need details. Single or dual barrel ?
What are the marking on them ?
If they are early Solex they are worth $500 plus to a 356 guy. There are split shaft and solid shaft models.
I sold a pair of the early one for $500 a few years ago.

My bet is they are from a 72ish VW Bus.

I am using solex kadron and I love them. I bought it 5 years ago for $200.
I might switch over to webers 44 when/if I get 2056 engine.
