I was at Hessisch Oldendorf this weekend. It is a once-in-4-years meeting for the really old VW's and Porsches. There was one 914 . Officially it was not allowed since only pre-1967 cars were allowed there. It was there as advertisement for a restoration company. I got the vin....
It is a great meeting with visitors from around the world incl Japan, USA, mexico, all over Europe etc.
There were some Porsches....

Yes...they are Porsches... at least the first 3 in the pic. Last one is the beetle which was derived from that in the end (one of the the oldest known beetles)

And this is the one 914 I mentioned. No interior or drivetrain yet ..too bad they drilled holes in the nice fresh painted car for the wrong Porsche logo.
I have the vin ...i will check if it was registered before here since I think it was imported into Europe.

Edit: checked the vin and it was registered here to Toecutter from Texas....not been online since 2008....so...now it is being full restored in Europe!

I know the owner of the 356 "dannenhauer", we're fm the same little town...
Was built fm scratch on a 356 chassis.
Just google "metalmaster seppe" and click on pictures (or on facebook). Lot of things to find about him and his work on cars... btw the roof was added recently in three weeks time...again fm scratch

"world" famous in the VW & 356 scene for his metalwork (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

cheers fm Belgium
