If its not just a core pedigree with build list any receipts will bolster your price.
Pictures too. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Do you have a video that shows the motor actually running?

If you seriously expect someone to part with 2 grand give more details then 7 words. Might be a good deal but who knows. Do a compression or leakdown test. Post pictures.

Same seller posted the same vague information in the 914 Facebook page. Same lack of pictures, same lack of follow-up. I'm a bit suspicious of Vito.

I think I have met him..if he lives in Palm City , and works at a local powder coaters....had a 914 project that he put some brand of V8 in...said he bought 4 more parts cars , with 2 liters...not particularly sophisticated seller....probably 156,000 miles ,with history unknown , but I know none of this for sure...

Think this is posted again on FB ... Or maybe one of the other engines that someone mentioned. but this current one has no injection attached.
I would be thrilled to find a complete and running (so I know everything is there) but this is very vague.

Anyone ever get questions answered on this one ?

I've bought some stuff from Vito. He responds best to phone calls. I think he listed his number earlier in this thread. I don't think I've ever gotten a response from him other than phone and in my experience he always answers his calls.
