Just finished installing a new Petronix Dizzy. It came out of the box 180 degrees out. Flipped the coupler and now all is well. The first picture is the new and the second is the old dizzy. Go figure! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) |

I just installed a Pertronix SVDA, and TDC#1 was 180 out, but with the vacuum pot there's no easy way.
Per instructions provided by aircooled.net I ignored the line TDC line in the rim if the distributor body, and the notch in the cap. I put the plug wires where they are supposed to go (rotor points at driver's seat for #1) and it worked fine. |
