Does anyone use a gasoline additive on a regular basis in their 914? I have heard a lot of pros and cons about such products over the years, especially for use in older engines. Any recommendations for or against?

I used Marvel Mystery Oil after the Capt'n had recommended it to keep injectors clean and lubed. At each fill 4 oz are added. I also use Chevron with Techron. Engine and injectors have done well.

Techron is good, though you can just buy Chvron gas and it's handled. I'd gas most of the pros are being said by companies trying to sell you something. Just use good quality gas. Burn it up. Don't let it sit for months.

Murphy Gas stations (at some Wal-Marts ) are now offering straight gas with NO ethanol. The store in Boerne had it for $2.49 a gallon.
