If space is a main consideration - it can be rented.

Have you driven a "street" GT40 yet? The car you showed is wonderful to look at, even with the body panels removed, but how are they to drive on the street?

If barely decent to drive to a Cars and Coffee event would you really want to hop in it for a few hour fun run to the coast or mountains?

I thought I wanted a Dodge Viper until I drove an '04 a few months ago, great car to look at but during my drive I decided not a car for me at all.

Mike,

No I have not - it would take modifications for me to fit properly anyway. Funny you say that about a Viper...I had one and really liked it. Back then, quite some time ago, they were terrible track cars. Now they're great.

.................if you are short, the GT 40 will fit AND you can drive under semis on the freeway (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif)

I think everyone is trying to describe apples vs oranges ... it's all fruit.

Post some pictures of your GT 40 ............... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer3.gif)

We are all going to the big race track in sky.................... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/grouphug.gif)

Thank you everyone...I have made a decision. I will repost when wheels are actually in motion.
