So somebody did BIN for the full $7800 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/WTF.gif) wonder if the guy will get paid after the buyer sees it in person.

So somebody did BIN for the full $7800 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/WTF.gif) wonder if the guy will get paid after the buyer sees it in person. Relisted. Ain't this some (IMG:style_emoticons/default/stromberg.gif) "The story of this car is as follows: I purchased it due to my never ending obsession of Porsches (currently have a Carrera Targa SC, 944 Turbo, Cayenne) and other VW Auto Group brands (also own an RS6, S8, Jetta) --- have owned many many others. I pursued this car as it had very very minimal rust and if you're looking at this car you know that is VERY RARE. Most importantly --- the car has original pans, etc. which is again a rare occurrence considering most other 914's you see for sale have been chop-shopped. Upon purchasing it, driving it home for 2 hours and parking it in my garage (previous owner kept it indoors as well) I came to realize that I have way too many projects going on and I really need to finish my SC build prior to starting an another one. With that said --- I have decided to sell this 914 and will also be listing my 1987.5 944 turbo as well in the near future as I need space and could also use the funds to finally finish my 911." |

Jeez, what a load of (IMG:style_emoticons/default/stromberg.gif) . Nice (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bs.gif) story. How poetic.
And as far as the OP goes, as many wise ones have stated in this thread, be very glad you didn't spend your money. Take a deep breath, wipe your brow with the back of your hand, say WHEW!, and keep looking. It'll happen. |
