"...light body rust..."

Yeah I agree with the concern with that: "... light body rust, but not all the way thru yet ...." - given the PGH road salt, read it as: it has a 1 micron film of sheet metal left to go! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

Hey, I expect to see something Steelers in your sig or avatar Mr. Yellow75!

If I can hold my Steelers/Bucs/Penguins-Hornets support since moving to San Diego as a kid in 1963, then you should certainly be able to fly the flag or twirl the Terrible Towel or something being back there! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I bought a 71 in Seal Beach off of Craig's for 3K and the add stated that it had "light body rust". To date, and with a conversion to a 3.0-6 behind me on the car, I have yet to find any rust on the body of the car.......

Moral of the story: Don't always believe what you read on Craig's List. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

It's been on PGH craigslist for a while now. $7000.00

Don't think so.

this could just be bad body work.

But this would scare me off. And that the driver side, usually the pass. side is worse. so who knows what kind of repair was done over there. ??

My car was MUCH worse but I wasn't trying to sell it.

There's this white 74 2.0 that just popped up on Raleigh CL. Not far from me if anyone's interested in checking it out.

Call, ask for more pics and info, take a ride, looks at first glance to be nice, you'd save far more in the not too long run with a solid car over that orange bucket that your Rantee will be sitting on for some time; it's all been said before.

Good luck with your search.
