There are several parts you can do without. CSV, AAX, yada yada. No big. I hope that's an MPS in the pic, you'll need it! I don't see injectors?

Are there any "carb friendly" cams that are compatible with the stock FI?

No and vice versa no. They are mutually exclusive.

The elephant in the room is the MPS. You need that. I don't see injectors.

The injectors are there in the runners. Make sure to send them out for cleaning/servicing (Mr. Injector). I see the AAR as well.

You'll also need an FI fuel pump. Just get that Bosch two port one from Tangerine.

You should rush out and buy a lotto ticket tonight, too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

And what about a distributor with injector triggers? I don't see one there.

If they are there, then win! Should have been mentioned. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) The MPS isn't inside anything. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Love yalls. Such a great place to sort this stuff out.

Doh, I see it now. I hope this leads to a running car. So cool to see this collaboration. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Unless youve built , disassembled
Troubleshooted these f.i system s many times

I think its a mistake to try to assemble by piecemeal

A system for these cars

Lets say you test everything and it all works and you assemble
And install it correctly on the car , and thats a big if .

Then you fine tune it etc .

Its still a 40+ old system that if any one little thing fails or partially fails its almost impossible to diagnose and will give you fits trying to figure it out . Unless see first line of this post then your ok (IMG:style_emoticons/default/chair.gif)
