Sold something and buyer said they used bank account as funding source but I got charged a fee and never used to.

Unless you send -friends and family, they (PP) charge a fee as a seller. No fee as a buyer. Doesn't matter how the buyer funds the purchase. True, in PayPal. the seller is charged something like 3% for a regular sale. But the friend and family option is free to both party. . The qualifier is 'it's a done deal and no buyer protection to void transaction, I understand the comment about 'scammers use this' but not necessarily true. . perfectly legit for 'friend and family' When I sell [other than EBay which has it's hooks into you already] and someone insists on using regular Paypal, I just add 3% to the sales price if they want that option. . ' |
