and its the same on both ends correct? (caliper end and soft line connection)

yes; all our hardlines are 10mmx1,0mm and symmetrical.

"Bubble" or "European" flare; there an Asian brake hardline (i am told...) that is also 10x1,0 but uses a different flare.

our fittings at the FLAPS are almost always blue or green anodised.
anything not those colors should be inspected with great caution.

actually, they should all be inspected with great caution :-)
