so this is a 1971 orange factory paint radio etc. targa top. only mod is 3 point seat belt and exhaust.
its been in second owners possession for over 30 years. she has had it stored in her garage has not ran or even tried to start in 15 years. The body is in solid shape no rust we are discussing a price around 2500 but the great thing is she wants me to work it off on my lawn care as I have a lawn care business. What are your thoughts? What should I be concerned about when it comes to getting it road worthy? Dave Attached thumbnail(s) |

so the deal is done. I unpacked the hoarder style garage it has been kept in for 15 years.
It is in really amazing condition. one ding, a couple minor rust bubbles on the exterior but the inside of trunk and hood around hinges and such are pristine no rust at all. door jams look sexy. it has the factory wheels but also comes with a after market set. The emblems look great, it has factory manuals. but yeah its going to be worth a lot of mowings and snow plows but I'm good with that. I'm glad we agreed on price before I dug it out and pulled her outside. the owner would have wanted more judging from her reaction to the cleanliness of her. also I might have been tempted to agree to more! I will try to upload images if I am able to since I am a knew member. if not anyone can send me there email for the info and images. Dave |
