so this is a 1971 orange factory paint radio etc. targa top. only mod is 3 point seat belt and exhaust.
its been in second owners possession for over 30 years. she has had it stored in her garage has not ran or even tried to start in 15 years. The body is in solid shape no rust we are discussing a price around 2500 but the great thing is she wants me to work it off on my lawn care as I have a lawn care business. What are your thoughts? What should I be concerned about when it comes to getting it road worthy? Dave Attached thumbnail(s) |

Looks like you got a great car there. But $12K for a 1.7 on Craigslist before you got the title, right???? Dude, you picked the wrong car to slip one past somebody. This group knows the ups and downs of these cars.... no way anyone that does would buy it from you now.
Maybe for a Crèmesicle or a -6 just dug out of the garage. I would get it running and drive it. Love the color, wheels not so much. I say drive it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving-girl.gif) |
