hmmm, just put the new wheels on a scale, and they seem to be quite heavy ...

just the wheels without tires, 16 x 9 Ronal Alloys, 22lbs ....

too heavy?

22 pounds just seems heavy compared to say a 4 lug Fuch alloy at 11 pounds. Keep in mind you are running a 16X9 wheel which is twice the size of the 4 lug wheels. How much would a 16X9 Fuch weigh? I have some 16X7 I could weigh but that is 2 inches short. I would guess them to be around 16 to 18 pounds so I think they are relative. 22 pounds dont sound bad at all.

According to this web site (I cannot verify it's accuracy), the weight of a 16x9 Fuchs is 20 pounds. So in that regard your 22 lb wheel is not so heavy.

According to this chart a 16x9 Fuch weighs 20lbs (just like andrew said). A 16x8 Fuch weights 19lbs.
