Need help trouble shooting/ID'ers ..
Have a 76 2.0 stock FI. Was driving and it began sputtering/Tach was bouncing. Parked for a few hours and it restarted just fine. After parking for the night, went out to start...and nothing. Just kept turning over. Thinking it had something to do with the Petronix, I removed and replaced points/condenser. It fired up and idled perfect. I turned it off and tried to restart and once again, nothing but turning over. The fuel pump seems to be making its normal noise when I turn the key. I've owned this car for 20+ years no it only has just over 50k miles . |

The fuel pump seems to be making its normal noise when I turn the key.Describe please.
When it won't start does: 1- the fuel pump energize for ~1.5 seconds when the key is turned to the on position? 2- what is the ohm reading on the CHT? 3- are the 4 plug's each getting spark? |
