I am in the process of installing a factory console and have been following the tech article on Pelican, my problem is where does the top attach, when the console in there seems to be a gap between the bottom of the dash and the console, the console is complete
so what am I missing ?, on a side note do you think I could heat and bend my brake pedal about 1" to the left so I would have more room for my foot ?, is that metal brittle ? Neal (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon14.gif) |

Just make the top bracket. Like vsg said it should be pretty easy to do with some tin snips and sheet metal from the hardware store. Really you don't even need the top bracket. I have the A/C console without the A/C unit installed and it's bolted down securely enough just from the bottom.
