Everyone keeps telling me they like the videos I put up from our track weekends, so here's another from this past weekend at Summit Point Raceway with Potomac Region PCA.

Never been to Summit before. Doing some practice for the September PCA Race there. For those that don't know, PCA now has a 'Vintage' group for racing - 4 classes: V4U/V4O (4 cyl under/over 2L) VU/VO (6 cyl under/over 2.4 L) I plan to run in VO.

By the end of the weekend, I got my lap time down to 1:21, which based on last year would put me in the top 2-3 cars. Gonna be more cars this year, with higher competition, but I'm pretty satisfied with my first time out.

Nadine took a day or so to get comfortable with the track, but by the end was feeling good and running good lap times.

Those that know our history of engine issues can understand how totally excited we are that we are STILL running trouble free weekends with Papa Smurf. All weekend, only 2 issues: steering wheel felt loose while I was in grid so I came in...27mm nut was VERY loose. And...dumbass me ran out of gas on my last session!! Didn't cause a delay for anyone, but had to be towed in...embarassing...

This video is of my entire last session...with a couple lessons learned for video taking at the end.

Enjoy...
