At mile marker 53, on I-275, westbound, I am following what appears to be a nice, silver 914. As I close, a 914-6 emblem is seen on the rear. As I slowly pass, I give a courteous "honk" of my horn and a (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumb3d.gif)

Surely you, the driver of that apparently nice /6, belong to this fantastic, fanatical, forum family.

That would be my car. Other than one repaint, it is original.

Bill,

I was the guy in the dark blue VW Golf Sportwagen that passed you Saturday morning. Nice car, and so good to see one on the road.......it has been a long time since I've seen one in "daily " use. I suppose you too hold your breath when passing/being passed by the many gravel/landscaping/dump trucks that seem to be all over I-275 these days.

Bill, did you get another one??? The car I saw when I was at your place was red and flared.

I am digging into building my 2.7, so I need to pick your brain soon...

Different car. The orange six was simply too nice to drive so I sold it and bought this one. Local car since at least 1975, maybe always.
