it probably didn't hurt, a turbo diesel mercedes with 300k probably is only worth 1500$ at the most

I call BS on the 914-6 motor. How many of those came with CIS injection?

If the engine has the 2.7's CIS on it, have they modified it to feed the 2.0 engine? Or modified the 2.0 into a 2.7? In which case I don't think you can put it back to 2.0 displacement...

Look at picture 7 - separation of flares from body - looks like fiberglass to me. Lots of bubbles on the flares.
