Strictly speaking, not a 914, but it is a Type IV. It has amused me on CL for a couple of weeks now:

https://washingtondc.craigslist.org/mld/cto...6266172574.html

That's $10K, not $1,000. But for 10 g's you get a historic, street-legal (really? which street?) turbo Type IV. As the ad says, it is "something different." Pretty sweet!

I think that's a 914 world member. IIRC I've seen a picture of the car and the dog somewhere else on this site. Although LEs are essentially stock '74s with a few appearance mods, there is something about the limited numbers that is very compelling.

The pics make me think the seller is saying: "if you want to buy this car, I'll steal it and sell it to you. I've been stalking for a few weeks now"

I've done some communicating on the Zambezi green car. No accident history, some rust repair. If I were to move on it, there would have to be enough margin to cover transport, and a bit more.

What's up with the the headlight cover? Looks a bit askew, or is that normal for a 914?
