Is it a standard insurance policy or specialty? If full coverage, your insurance co may try to " total loss " the car. This happens frequently on "other brand of older car" list I'm on. Also, with full coverage, there is " Stated value" and Agree value" The policy needs to be carefully read as one is a not to exceed value than can be pushed down at time of loss and the other a "car is gone, we pay the full amount you signed up for.". |
