1. When you say you need a different clutch/flywheel, do you mean because you are converting from a 901? Yes 2. Hydraulic clutch actuation may be a good idea because the lever on the trans will be on top instead of on the bottom, although I suppose you might be able to creatively route a cable if you wanted. I'm considering hydraulic as well, but don't have the car off the ground yet, so haven't started measuring things. Gotta study on how to do that at the pedals. My Vellios 915 shifts fine after some fiddling, but I think the Bott or Wevo kits are the way to go these days. Just flipping the R&P seems easier than doing all the design work to flip the 915, though it does make gear changing more involved.

I have the Bott kit on a 915. It's night and day to a 901. With a Rennshifter, it shifts better than a 911 SC.
