Buy it for the motor and box, part the rest out you cannot go wrong. What motor? The one that is claimed to be built on a 2.0 and have 300hp and a 9k redline but has never run? A few missing pieces to this retard puzzle. Zero rust? LOL Yeah, Riiiiight. I should retract that reply, read rebuilt engine and not the "non running "part ,makes you think it was run and went to (IMG:style_emoticons/default/stromberg.gif) shortly after (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) . |

There is a 73 914 on Kansas City Craigslist that has been on there for quite awhile.
The add claims that it has a 340hp 4cyl, 14:1 compression and it will do 10000 rpms. |

This car was listed a few weeks ago as a 6 for around $10K and the engine builder's name was listed. I can't remember the name but I looked him up and the guy is known to build horrible motors. So, the story has already changed.

So, the story has already changed. This sounds like the seller is a broker, looked on NADA for prices and is trying to make a sale of something they know nothing about. Calling a 4 a 6 is evidence of that. Also evidence that they didn't take a can of fuel and a few wires to make it run. |
