alright guys, need to pull the door card from the door. To do so, as far as I can tell, you need to pull the inside door handle - at least the "dish?

on the drivers side the door handle is secured with 2c bolts going into welded in nuts inside the door, but is it the same on the passemnger side? and if so, how do you get to them?

thanks in advance

It works the same on both sides:
Pry out the plastic cover with a screw driver. There is a screw under it near the handle. You'll have to pull out the door handle like you are opening the door to get to it. Unscrew that and the escutcheon (frame) will come off.

I think you're talking two different things, there.

The door handle that RZ-1 was talking about is the lever that you pull in order to open the door.

The handle that Waterbear refers to that has several screws in it sounds like the pull handle you use to close the door from the inside. Note that the driver's and passenger's ones of those are different.

Your Haynes manual (they're cheap; you should have one!) tells you how to remove both.

The short version: For the driver's side remove the screws along the bottom of the door pocket. Two Allen-head screws hold the top of the pocket onto the door.

The passenger's side has an Allen-head screw at the top of the handle, under a cover. There are a couple more screws, but you have to remove the bottom cover to get at them. You remove the regular screws from the bottom side of the bottom cover, then slide the cover forward to unhook it from the underside of the armrest. The other Allen-head screws are then visible and can be removed.
