914 fuel pump update kit, a great solution to the expensive three port version

I used to say years ago that the three port fuel pump fitted to the 70-74 Porsche 914s never failed. Well I have lived long enough to eat my words, they are all failing! Factory discontinued, and very very expensive to rebuild (we sell them on our site for 395) we figured that we HAD to come up with a solution. Relying on the Porsche factory for a lead, we figured out a way to use the more efficient 75 76 pump and plumb it into the earlier 914 system. THEN we had to do something about the price. Our solution was to have the original pump duplicated in high quality and then add the appropriate hose and filter. The result is an easy to plumb late model high quality fuel pump at a fraction of the cost of an original. Mounts in the stock original position and so efficient that we have yet to have had a reported vapor lock problem. The best thing is the price, only 99.50, with a two year Automobile Atlanta guarantee!
