I have a '72 1.7 FI that has the old style oil bath. I read somewhere that the 73 dry filter element is a bolt on replacement.
#1 is that a good improvement and... #2 where do i find one. Thanks |

I've commonly heard that the oil bath filter works really really well, but is a PITA to deal with. Post a WTB in the classifieds and someone should pipe up with an offer. If you really can't find one, give HPH or EASY a call. They've got them.
