If you are on here, you need to bring this by and let us help you make this the car it was meant to be. Kudos for actually having a running 914 but you really need to do something about it's appearance. We could make it much nicer in just a few weekends with a little help from other club members. Here is the 914 I just saw at Euclid and the 405 in Fountain Valley.

Not for the weak at heart.

That's funny. I think I saw that same car!.

I'm keeping my car in the garage until it's done. Don't want to be caught on Scotts Candid cam shots. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/cool.gif) lol

Mine doesnt look very good right now either, but it doesnt look that bad. At least you can tell I am doing something with it. That car looks like it is untouched and unrestored. I think they are just going to drive it till it rusts away to nothing. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/driving.gif)

There is a black crappy one in my hood that I left a message on. It didnt even have door handles (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif) I offered to let the guy rummage through my parts stash as I felt sorry for him, but I never got a call. That car is intentionally made to look like a POS so it isn't attractive to thieves. Probably a sleeper under the hood.

I agree with scruz914. Why fix it up? It will just get egged, keyed, broken into, and stolen.
Dont ask me how I know. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/mad.gif)
