So this just popped up in my inbox this morning. A local bumblebee!

"ran when parked"

If I were in the market, I would be going to take a look at it, but since I'm not I figured I'd post it here.

Looks like a good starting point from the pictures. If it were closer I’d be going to take a look.

I looked up the SN on Jeff Bowlsby chart and I could not find it there so It may not be a LE? I saw the number as 4742915254

Still may be a nice 74 in Black?

Not every LE has been submitted to the registry. It falls within the VIN number range, but one would have to inspect it in person to really verify it.

Looks like it might still have the LE front spoiler.

Hi All
I have contacted the guy but no answer yet. I was thinking of asking someone nearby to take a look. I have been looking around for a while. I don’t mind a bit of spray, bodywork and interior but not structural rust or major engine work.

It’s hard to tell from the photos too much about it. I am in Sydney Australia but I know a mechanic who has a couple of these wrecked, so I should be ok for parts.

Thanks
Rob

So I contacted the seller anyway and he said that someone is flying in on Monday to look at it and buy it. Anyone from here? Just curious.

I am aware of this car...just have not out it on the Registry yet. I cannot verify its authenticity as an LE but I have no reason to believe its not real. A buyer needs to do their own diligence.

Hi All
Not me I am afraid, Mettelman was looking at it for another member and said he would let me know too. The guy was good enough to get back to me and said the same thing, someone is flying in on Monday to buy it.

I was not really fussed if it was not an LE but it looks as though it’s sold anyway

Cheers
Rob

I had an agreement to buy the said car on Monday. I contacted him as previously arranged and he said someone showed up out of the blue on Sunday night and offered him cash and he sold it to him. He said he was so creeped out that someone could find him that he sold it to get him out of his house. I was really pissed.
