The burnouts and donuts start at about 14 minutes into the clip.

Mine would break if I tried to do that.

Love Jeff and his car. Sometimes check out the New Zealand hill climb footage to take the edge off when I haven't driven for awhile.

Nearly biffs it at the start of his burnout in this one. Coolio

I was just watching this and was going to post it. Jeff is a really cool guy, totally humble, and approachable. He used to come to Cars & Coffee in Aliso Viejo quite often, and he would always drive something awesome.

So I looked it up because I thought it might be a young thing and as I will be 65, well what the hell.

It'd take giant balls just to do the burnouts with a wall and a fence in proximity! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

A pinky raiser on the 914 Facebook group said it was "gauche displays of exhibitionism", yea right. As if there's a generally accepted code of conduct on how we should enjoy our cars.

Donut away amigo! I think it's fun.

Also includes driving through peoples yards, smashing mail boxes , smoking out people with a diesel "tuner" box , driving on the road shoulder to pass cars then stuffing ones self into traffic when "merging" onto a main road , taking up two parking spaces by randomly parking , . . . .

Yea I saw that .... somehow he thinks racing and off road rallying is less abuse than a few doughnuts... crazy!

He must not know who Jeff is and the history of that car.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

He's used to running Pikes Peak, so typically he's drifting with a cliff off the road...a wall and fence are nice cushions (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Always loved Jeff's 914/6 since I saw his write up about it in a R&T article on the best car for $15k....back when you could get a 914/6 M471 for $15k!!! I have looked and looked, but can't find it, must have gotten lost when I moved out of home after college.

914's seem to come up as a topic lately. The reader comments are funny. One guy says he called it "the poor mans porsche" while secretly wanting one.

Well it is entry level. I really don't care who made the 914, I care more about what it is.

"Wash over your soul with joy"?? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) Watching someone do donuts? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/av-943.gif) Hell, I can do donuts. No problem. But I won't in my car because it would be much more difficult for me to fix a broken 914 than good old Jeff. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
