I have been able to locate the proper oil lines and fittings and believe I can also supply the hard line which many feel are to small but in actuality they are just fine as the inside of the oil tank is the same size as the id of the scavange line.
Anyhow I kind of looking for input as to if this is a valuable resource in such a way that I should invest in multiple sets to stock with oil tanks etc or are most people going the AN route? I am looking to make a complete oil supply system. I plan to also make a dipstick that reflects real qtys in my tanks.. Thoughts are welcome.. |

A Mocal thermostats can easily be adapted to allow or prevent oil flow to the front and may be more cost effective than the factory thermostat (though it wouldn’t be ‘Concours Correct’). Mounting it on the passenger firewall allows you to run the lines along the passenger side of the car to a front cooler. AN-12 lines work nicely, but tubing would be neater and provide a bit more cooling capacity along the rub. There is (was) a company making finned tubing that would further help with cooling, but I haven’t seen their info for quite a while. The Lemke Design Turbotrol coolers used this type of tubing.
