As the last rear sway bar I bought was a 911 one, I'm trying again to buy a rear 914 sway bar for my 914-6 GT project

Rear sway bars aren't common. Are you sure you need one? If so, sell me on it. If not, maybe rewind a little and ask why you think you want one?

Reason I want one is that I'm building a 914-6 GT replica. I will have a 911 engine in the car. Preferably a 3.2, but I have also a 2.2 engine. All depending what local DMV in Norway approves.

To have the car approved and with 911 engine there is a TuV document describing in steps what needed to be done with the car to have it approved for a 911 engine. Steps describes chassis stiffening, sway bars, brakes etc.

(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/porscheentusiasten.no-12280-1508485950.1.JPG)

1.2: Engines with a displacement> 3000 cm3 are not permitted.

1.3 translated to english:

The following minimum requirements must be met according to the power of the motor:
up to 96 kW (130 hp) no changes required
up to 118 kW (160 hp) front and rear stabilizers
up to 132 kW (180 hp) front and rear stabilizers as well as internally ventilated brake discsalso on the rear axle
up to 154 kW (210 HP) stabilizers front and rear, mounting the larger brake calipers
Front axle (braking surface per wheel 76 cm2), internally ventilated brake discs
also on the rear axle as well as for stiffening the body a "Fest-
Roof "series 916 or by means of suitable pipe reinforcements
(Roll cage) equivalent stiffness of the body
to ensure.

Hope this answered tou question why I need a rear sway bar :-)

Trond is an importer. He makes international call quite a bit I’d bet. He bought the Bumblebee Racer from me a few years back...
