Chris you are right, but there seems to be an element of the "914 community" that would rather screw the other 914s, especially if they happen to be faster on the track. All the whoopin' & hollerin' aside, there is a simple solution.Write the SCCA and ask them as to the legality of these parts in these classes. I can't see going to the runoffs with the bits on board "on the come" if there is any question about them.

After reading Eric's quoted sections of the rule book, I can see a few potential problem areas.....subject to interpretation of terms.

Bottom line is exactly that, write the SCCA. Get a ruling then shove it where the sun doesn't shine. I am tired of this whining shit. It is just a shame that the 914's can't come together. I am done posting about this topic.
