They are in the rear trunk under the damping mat. Most are either very discolored or painted over because they were not removed at time of re-paint. They are about the size of a dime. I will measure mine and post back.

I looked in PET Katalog but could not find them.

Would be great if 914rubber made these. I actually picked up a set off of eBay...only to realize that it came from AA. They did arrive and they were as advertised, so I got that going for me... Here's the link off the AA site. They're only 20 bucks, so a low risk purchase (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Under the mat.... size of a dime.... I would go to ACE hardware and get some plugs. Plastic or chrome. A couple of every size won't be $3.

No one is ever gonna see them. My guess is the holes were needed for manufacturing the car in some way, then they stuck the vinyl plugs in, never to be seen.

EDIT: Sorry, are there ACE hardware stores down under? Something similar I am sure?

$20 seems like about $19 too much.

Yes If I can get an original (don't want to copy an AA part) I'd be happy to make these.

I do have the little plug in the rear trunk for the tire but wasn't sure of what the center part went.

You can buy the big ones (19mm) at Sierra Madre for $1.29 ea.
Seems like a fair price.

http://www.sierramadrecollection.com/cart....ch=plastic+plug

The smaller one....I'm not sure the size?
Sierra has an 8mm plug for $1.02 and an 8.6mm for $0.49.
This seems close to the correct size, but you'd have to measure to be sure.

Thanks. SM lists lots of stuff, but if you ask when it will ship it's offer "in production".
Kind of sound familiar?
So if you do buy ask when you can expect to recieve.

Besides Sierra Madre, Aase Sales, Sunset Porsche all carry the 19mm plugs. They are readily being made and in stock already. I've got some of them shipping to me as we speak. The smaller one...I'm still looking for. That said, it would be great to pick up all the chassis plugs in one kit.
