Ok, I am about to disprove the notion that there are no stupid questions! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

I would like to see pics of a side-shifter vs. a rear shifter. Just trying to figure out the difference.

Here is pic of a side shift tranny with the arrow pointing to the shifting console. A tail shifter has a rod thingy that sticks out at the end of the tranny.

the Tail Shifter was used from '70-72... 73+ had the side shifter
