Fans of this Russ Meyer classic should know that there's a couple of paragraphs about Tura Satana in this month's 356 Registry magazine. She drove a 356 (Russ Meyer's own personal car)in the in the movie. She says when the film was made she was more into Mustangs and Corvettes but liked driving the 356. Now she says she has a 914 in the garage! I wonder how she fits those boobs into it. She's the darkhaired one in the picture.

dark; she is on the right.

"FPKK" is still not yet available on DVD; more Porsche fans need to go to Amazon (or the film retailer of your choice) and get ut on the request list...

Tura Santana certainly made the most of an horrifically abusive youth. i hope she is happy and doing well now, as her childhood was the stuff of nightmares. happy could mean a rust free 914, of course...

Those boots were made for walking. And if you don't watch it, that's just what they'll do, those boots will walk all over you!

After Miles started this tread yesterday, I Googled the web site that Mikey later posted and sent an e-mail to Tura. I told her I was a fan and asked for a photo of her with her 914. I also invited her to visit the 914World.com website. I never expected a reply. I was delighted to get this e-mail tonight.

Hi John:

Thanks for writing to me and letting me know that you are a fan of not only myself but of my 914.  I don't have an pictures of me with the 914 yet, but when I do, I will send them on.  I also liked driving the 356 as well.  It was a lot of fun to drive, but then so is my 914.  I recently had a new engine put in so right now, it's not running.  Thanks again for writing and for being a fan.

As Always,
Tura Satana

Hah, I remember seeing those movies at the Long Beach drive-in. Kids with their parents driving along the 405 and watching porn. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/blink.gif)
